To all of Humanity

An apprehensive world is faced with a very challenging situation at this time,
while people are in fear of  the outcomes of the COVID-19 spread.

The Baha'i community is one of joy and hope, and we join with others in creating a sense of community within our neighbourhoods and with our friends. It seems that profound themes such as the nature of human reality, the unity of mankind, the type of communities we wish to live in, the responsibility of the individual to the collective good, trials and difficulties as a means of growth, and the power of prayer are now foremost in many minds.

"Never lose thy trust in God. Be thou ever hopeful, for the bounties of God never cease to flow upon man..."
Baha'i Writings

Seldom has it been more evident that society’s collective strength is dependent on the unity it can manifest in action, from the international stage to the grassroots.  The world stands more and more in need of the hope and the strength of spirit that faith imparts.

However difficult matters are at present, humanity will ultimately pass through this ordeal and will emerge with greater insight and appreciation of its inherent interdependence and oneness.

"Ye are the fruits of one tree and the leaves of one branch.... "
Baha'i Writings
